If I’m supposed to do a 90 report on the 10th Oct but leaving the country 29th Oct, do I still have to do a 90 day report or will I be covered by amnesty?
Hi! Asking for a friend. Basically, his extension of stay based on employment is being cancelled on Sept. 23, his company is allowing him to stay till Sept. 24, does this mean he's on amnesty after the 23rd or 24th?
Is he eligible to apply for amnesty extension? If yes, CW or MTT? What documents are required? If it is CW, is there an online queue for CW?
I was at the Chiang Mai Airport Immigration office on an unrelated matter and discussed with them my Visa Status. I am a US Citizen and originally had a B Visa that I acquired overseas (sticker in passport), and then I went on Amnesty in May. I already bought an airline ticket and assumed I would be leaving on 26-Sept. I asked them if I had any options other than leaving on or before Sept. 26. They informed me that the US Embassy was now issuing letters to assist in requesting a 30 day extension. I went on the US embassy website, submitted my information, and am now waiting on my letter. Has anyone tried to get the thirty day extension yet, and have they been successful?
Im on a Non O Multi (family) that expires Jan 2021. Im currently on amnesty and have already used up my 60day extension before amnesty was announced. I don't meet the financial requirements for the 1 year extension (I have been withdrawing 60k in cash every month from my US account at the ATM).
I am trying to figure out my options as possible backup plan if amnesty will not get renewed or the borders remain closed for border runs.
Can I change my Non-0 ME family visa to an ED visa without leaving the country? The courses seem to be cheaper than a flight back home so its something I would consider if possible.
Or are there any options I might not know about?
This border situation gives me so much anxiety of not knowing if I will have to leave my home of 9yrs in Thailand so I appreciate your feedback.
