I am traveling to Thailand since 23 years, now being 50yrs old with German passport, and always on visa exempt stamp.
Since last year it seems using this way of entering the country is getting more and more tricky as I enter the country 2-3x during a 4 weeks holiday trip entering other SEA countries as well.
I also own a Condo in my name in Pattaya btw.
Now wondering what visa to apply for, probably DTV as I have all the requirements handy, to get not stressed with questions and evidence for my own purpose.
What is your guys recommendation in my case for 2-3 yearly visits to SEA in total not more than 120days but multiple Thailand entries?
I don't want to live there or apply for a standard tourist visa as I can't see a big difference.
As German I have also 2 passports (both German) which is allowed for critical purposes and land borders (Emirates, Israel, Cuba etc.) and I could potentially change my passport each time or so.
What are your recommendations for best and flexible options for myself?
I’m looking to move to Thailand but unsure what Visa to go with. I’m 100% disabled and don’t work. So I’m unsure if I would qualify for DTV. I meet the other requirements. I could start freelancing but idk how long of a work history I need to show.
Hi everyone! I have will have spent a year in thailand in April on a ED Visa (language learning). I’d like to stay one more year, but does anyone know if its possible to get another ED Visa for a different school/study (such as muay thai or hand to hand combat?) what are my options besides the DTV visa? Seeing so much mixed info online. Thank you!
I just got my DTV visa approved while I’m already in Thailand on a tourist visa, didn’t expect it, which is why I’m in this situation.
I’m currently in Chiang Mai and was thinking about heading up north to activate it. Or would it be better to just book a flight and do a quick 24-hour round trip?
What’s the best option? Thanks in advance for your advice! 🙏🏼
Originally interested in the DTV Visa to do Muay Thai since I am already here to train, but now considering learning to cook. Anything on schools that teach how to make Thai food?
I got Non-Ed visa from University for 3 months and 1 year stamps but my 3 months stamp about to expire on 3 Feb. Currently I'm outside of country (I did have retry stamp) and I couldn't make it back before 3 Feb to get a stamp for 1 year due to illness admit at hospital, is there a ways I can get a hold of my visa
