I have a few questions regarding the 1 yr Extension for the Non O marriage visa.
- based in BKK, so I will go to CW. I read that the under consideration period is 21 days there and that I can apply from -45days onwards. If I go early, let’s say 40 days before, is the under consideration period still 21 days or the full 40 days?
- in regard to the bank letter with the 400k. I assume this is just the print out of all the past transactions + the signature of the branch manager right?
- those 6 pictures of me together with my wife have to be taken at specific locations within and in front of our condo?
Hi, I've received my 30 days "under consideration stamp" for extension based on raising thai children. The immigration officers have already visited our house for taking pictures and I'm supposed to come to the immigration on 1st June. I used 400k as proof of funds (without any seasoning). I want to use this money for building a house (need to pay the construction company by Friday). Can I take it out of my bank account? I've asked the immigration officers several times what documents do I need to bring on 1st June. The answer was always "Just your passport". So I just want to verify this information that I won't have to show my bank book/bank letter to the immigration again. Thank you
BTW 1 interesting side note: because I have 2 children, the immigration required birth certificates and tambien baan of both children (documents of only 1 child weren't enough).
Thanks to the admins for updating us on the new regulations about covid extension.
After reading today's post, I went to the immigration to apply for a second extension right away. I am here on a visa exemption 30 days stamp and I still have 32 days before the end of my current extension but the officer agreed to proceed today cause they don't know what's gonna happen next.
I asked for a 30 days extension (for tourists) since I'm flying out in march but the officer said they can't do that one anymore as per yesterday's announcement, so I got the 60 days covid extension ( actually I got the under examination stamp).
Hope all of this makes sense and doesn't sound too confusing, I just wanted to share my experience and be thankful to those who updated us all regarding the new circumstances.
Hi All, question: I have a Multi-entry tourist visa, expires 28th Feb. Can I get the 60 days covid extension now? So taking me from 28th Feb - 26th April (around that date)? Thanks in advance.
I’m on the 60 day covid extension of stay which expires on July 20th. When is the earliest I can go in for another covid extension of stay (visa/stamp) to immigration?
Also, will the new stamp be starting the day of the stamp or will it start after July 20th?
