Hi! If you are apply for DTV with spouse visa, can you use a joint bank account for proof of 500,000bht?

I think I understand it correctly that we need 500,000bht each? If so, could we submit with 1M bht in one joint account?

I am here in Thailand on Visa exempt. I cannot get a bank account as tourist, but I cannot get Non-O Immigrant Visa without a bank account! I meet qualifications for Retirement Visa. I have a lease through early July In Karon Beach Phuket.

Is there any way I can get the Non-O without returning to USA?

Looks like tourists can't open bank accounts now. All new non O visa applications are on hold. Confirmed with two agents.

Hi everyone. I have 2 questions, 1- Did the immigration rules change this Feb 1 , 2025? 2- I had pension income verified by my Canadian embassy (over the 65k/Mon) but immigration did not accept it stating that it is not a "guarantee" from the embassy. Did anyone experience this, and can you please share?

Now I have to open bank account and deposit 800k bht into the account to get me 3 + 12 month visa. So I need to transfer 30k dollars from Canada into Thailand which is not an easy task.

How many months bank account showing 500,000 baht is required, and what other income information is needed please?

To apply for dtv shall I use my main bank account with a lot of activity or one with less activity that I mostly use for rent transfers?

Hello group. I am going to extend my 1y non O retirement visa this August after my first year in the land of smiles. To your knowledge, 1- did I have to keep 800k THB in my bank account for the whole 1st year? 2- can I bring my bank account balance down to 400k THB 3 months after my 2nd year non-O visa extension? 3- can I get my balance down to 400k THB now and top it up to 800k THB 2 months before extending?
