I just need reminding, how soon before my retirement visa expires can I apply for renewal. I think it's 45 days.

Hi, do I need to do 90 day reporting for DTV if I have already left the country and came back within the past 180 days?

I got my dtv about 70 days ago, and recently left Thailand and came back. Do I need to go to immigration to do 90 day reporting soon or did it already reset since I left the country recently?

I'm 2 year in on a non o retirement visa from the UK. I've been going home a few times a year with reentry permit. My visa is due for renewal in December my question is I want to go home for an extended stay possibly up to 6 months in May....is this possible or is there a time limit I can stay outside of Thailand before it affects my visa ? From what I've found out 45 days is the limit ....is this right ? What would be the best way round this ? I have the 800,000 Bhat in a Thai bank....Thanks

Looks like tourists can't open bank accounts now. All new non O visa applications are on hold. Confirmed with two agents.

My one year extension of stay expires at the end of April. I need to get back to US for Taxes and SS application. Is it possible to extend earlier than 30 days stated. I have read some places are 45 days which would be great. I live in Samut Prakan. Is Samut Prakan Immigration office one that will allow the extension 45 days prior to expiration.

Hi all. I’m in a long term rental in Chiang Rai and will be traveling to Bangkok next week. I’m sure the hotel will submit a TM-30. When I return, will I need to submit another TM-30?

I'm in Thailand and have just read that from May 1st a TM6 form instead of the "not in force yet "ETA will be required prior to arrival....anybody else heard of this ?...do the Thais know what on earth is going on. ?

Under the information about the DTV on the info page is says

"Financial evidence: amount of no less than ฿500,000 ( $ 14,750+ ) for the last 3 months, e.g. bank statements, payslips, sponsorship letter"

Does sponsorship letter work for all softpower?

If i do a medical soft power application what does this sponsorletter need to say?

My impression is that a sponsorletter is to secure and cover your stay, but should that then say 5 years or 180 days??

Anyone used a sponsorletter on a softpower dtv?
