Hi I live in Koh Tao and got married to a Thai in the UK in 2023. I want to change from my non-o 90 day visa to a one year non-o visa.
Have been told by my visa agent that she doesn't know how to help me... 🙄so hopefully you guys can help me.
What do I need to do? I have read many threads and there is always contradictory advice so I am very lost.
Do I apply for the 'affirmation of marriage status' form on the UK gov website? That form is worded as if it is for unmarried persons and also asks what date and location I'm going to be married in, which makes me think that is the wrong form for someone who is already married. Don't want to pay £75 for the wrong form.
I have heard I need to get a "kor ror 22" and also certify my UK marriage certificate then get it translated but not sure how to go about it.
Can anyone please shine some light on what I need to do?

Anyone done a Thai pre-nup or guide on how to reduce risk of keeping a loving blushing bride from turning into a money chugging she devil ex transforming you into a Thai street pauper? Aside from not tying the knot in the first place? Serious question but stupid answers also welcomed for entertainment value :-)
I have a question regarding when applying for a non-immigrant "O" one year extension based on marriage to a Thai national. Does the Ampur whom you obtain your kor ror 22 form matter jurisdictionally regarding where you can apply for the one year extension? I plan to apply for my one year extension in Jomtien. Will it be a problem if I obtained our kor ror 22 (recognizing our legal marriage in Thailand) from the Ampur in Bangkok? In other words, will the immigration office in Jomtien require that our marriage and kor ror 22 came from their jurisdiction and where we plan to reside, being Pattaya? Thank you all in advance!
