TM30 online registration question:

I own a Condo but still only travel with 60day exempt stamp to Thailand for vacation.

Most of those trips do include border crossings and trips to other SEA countries like Cambodia, Lao and Vietnam.

Now I have registered an account and got my condo address approved from the TM30 website but reading instructions I am a bit confused as it mentions I have to provide the TM30 certificate export to an immigration officer: [members only]

I am wondering how many TM30, each entry into Thailand???, I have to get done and really need to provide the certificate to the immigration office?

How are you handling this with real property in Thailand but not living there?

Tm30io website. Registered for this which looks official but went to jomtien yesterday an immigration dont recognise it , had to redo a tm 30 with them before i could get an extension.

I recently saw posts here and TikToks of people opening accounts at TTB. So, I went to the TTB branch at Big C Extra On Nut in Bangkok and opened an account. I also got myself an ATM card, and it cost me literally nothing—not even a deposit. The staff were quite helpful and assisted me throughout the entire process, including the bank application and setting up the ATM card password.

The bank has a list of required documents for DTV holders opening an account. Here is the list:

* Passport

* Visa

* A document issued by the Thai government or the applicant’s country of origin, such as an ID card or driver's license

* Lease agreement

* TM30

* Residential house registration

Additional documents:

* Job statement

* Job contract

* Proof of soft power-related activities (e.g., Muay Thai, Thai culinary training, medical treatment), such as an invitation letter, etc.

Bring all of these documents along with copies.

In my case, I provided all of them since I had them.

Opening bank accounts is not going to be getting easier anytime soon. This is not aimed at DTV holders but it is about all accounts. Thailand seems to be getting serious about scammers and limiting bank accounts is just one tool.

Couple of questions about 90 day report.

1. I heard you can do the first one in person but all the next ones online. Can someone give the URL for this?

2. Do I need to do the 90 day report at the 180 day mark? So if I do the extension should I also do the 90 day report or since I am doing the extension the 90 day is not required?

Could you please give me some advice, Are there any banks in BKK open accounts for foreigners holding a DTV Visa?

If the husband is an American citizen and we are registered as married in Thailand, he wish to change from a tourist visa to a Non-O (Marriage) visa. If he wants to change it in Thailand, he needs to have 400,000 baht in his bank account in Thailand. However, foreigners who enter on a tourist visa cannot open a bank account. How can he prove his financial situation? I'm looking for information from people who have gone through this process."
