Hi all, 

I have a question about the insurance as it pertains to getting getting your thai pass accepted. I have a tourist visa with a flight out 60 days after arrival. Does my insurance need to align with my flight dates? So if I bought 30 days worth of insurance,  would I not be approved? If i required 60 days of insurance, and I decided to extend 30 days at immigration, what would happen for those 30 days I am not covered? Would there be any issues with the extension at immigration? Would there be any issues when I go to leave the country?

If you have a 60 day Tourist Visa, your insurance must cover the days of your entry stamp, or however long you plan on staying in Thailand.

So if you enter on a 60 day visa, but only have 30 days of insurance, you will only be stamped in for 30 days.
