The OP stated they had the visa already. Once they have it then consulate rules don’t apply.

Not real evidence but read posts on here and other forums that they’ve caused issues. I seem to recall Vietnam and Russia were mentioned.

Within 24 hours and leaving via an airport you’ll get an overstay stamp in your passport but they’ll usually waive the 500 baht fine.

The overstay stamp isn’t an issue for returning to Thailand but can cause issues in other countries when applying for a visa for there. They see the overstay stamp for Thailand and may it cause problems.

Depends on the embassy where you apply. Approx 10k baht or equivalent unless you’re in NZ where it’s 40k.

Check their website for exact costs. It should be around 10k equivalent in AUD.

That depends on the embassy you use. Should be around the 10k baht or maybe a couple of thousand more - unless you’re applying in NZ where it’s approx 40k.

You pay for a 6 month course. You don’t have to do a course each year.

You pay at time of application. If rejected for whatever reason you lose that application fee and have to start over.

DTV probably your best option.

Changing passports is irrelevant. Whether same country or different country passports they are all linked via biometrics in the immigration database.

Both questions will be office dependent. You may get away with the 1st 90 day report online but you probably won’t.

Some offices don’t need TM30 if you’re returning to your main residence. Most do.
