Apply for 60 day tr with 30 day option to extend. Once inside Thailand get a 90 non o then after that apply for retirement visa.

You can still fly in if you want to. Just have to quarantine for 2 weeks or do Phuket sandbox and quarantine back in uk .

There is nothing stopping you going to Thailand. Complete the certificate of entry and everything that goes with it and you’re on your way.

You can apply for the non o visa when you’re there as long as you fulfill all that is required
