Can I ask a question. Me and my wife are both UK citizens I’m 57 she is 42. I wish to apply for a retirement visa and would just like to confirm that my wife can enter as a dependent on my visa as I am getting conflicting stories. Thanks
Update on our Trailing Spouse Non O Visa application [members only]/
We have each been granted Non O 90 day e-visas from London Embassy. Husband based on retirement, then subsequently Wife as trailing spouse. All went as advised here and on e-visa site except they wanted a copy bank statement for spouse showing £1,000 sterling!
QUESTION: Both e-visas look exactly the same, stating that they are Non-O but not on what basis they were applied for. When we come to extend in January how does immigration recognise wife's as trailing spouse and extend as such? We will only have 800k THB in husband's Thai bank account.
Has anyone needed an affadavit certifying a marriage certificate? (working on Kor Ror 22 as we were married outside of Thailand.)
I am being told I need to certify our marriage cert, but on the US Embassy site, it says that they don't do that. In this case I should do a signed affidavit, but what should I write on the document - that our document is legitimate? Or that I am married to ____.
