A couple of days ago I renewed my Non-Imm O for the 2nd year. I got a letter from the bank, however, it was the one for when first applying. I needed a statement for the previous 12 months. Being told by the Imm officer I would need to go to the main Bangkok Bank in Silom and apply, I thought, Oh no!. Instead I went to the bank downstairs in CW and spoke with them. I was informed by a very helpful staff, I could submit a request on my phone App and get it sent to me in 5 minutes. Print it, get it stamped by the bank. Problem solved. I told the Imm. Officer. Who then told others. Hope this helps others.
Hello, I need clarification please. In case of a request for a one-year extension of the non-immigrant visa O + 50 years (retirement). I said O and not OA. On the criteria of income required of 65000bth/month for a Frenchman, if I provide a certificate on the honor of the French Embassy in BKK as my monthly income is more than 65000bath/month, can you confirm that the document is accepted by the BI please? And ask more and more about this document, opening a bank account in Thailand and proof of transfers of 65,000 baht/month? Thank you for your help.

Is it possible to get a 30-day extension (without leaving Thailand) for an initial Non-imm O (spouse) visa, in order to buy more time to get other documents ready for the 1-year extension?
I am a South African and will be Going to Thailand with a Tourist Visa. The company will help me in Thailand with my Non Immigrant Visa B.
Now my question is...
Will my Husband and Daughter be able to apply for the Non immigrant Visa O (Spouse and Dependant) in Thailand or will they have to apply in our home Country? and if allowed in Thailand does anyone know how long it takes to be accepted?
I am currently on non-immigrant visa O for another 10 months.
End of this month I will fly from Bangkok to Japan so I will need re-entry permit.
Question: can I ask my re-entry permit already in Krabi district, where I live, multiple days ahead? Is there a limit of the validity of the re-entry permit?
Just want to save time at BKK airport, so figured to maybe do it in Krabi before.
Hello! Does anyone know if I can apply for non-immigrant type O (on the basis of being a spouse) via the E visa website without my Thai husband having a Thai ID card? He has a copy of his Thai birth certificate and tabien baan, and expired Thai passport.
I can’t seem to get hold of the London embassy to ask them and I don’t want to pay the fee if the Thai ID is an absolute must for obtaining the visa.
(For context: he will apply for his Thai ID card when we get to Thailand. It’s not possible to do at the embassy here because the first ID card must be issued in Thailand).
Also, would I really need to provide a DBS certificate and medical certificate? I struggled to check this info online. I’m assuming I’d need to pay a GP to issue a medical certificate… has anyone been through this process before and could possibly share some tips?
Hi everyone, yup I'm a bit slow. Been coming to Thai many years and have had many a wonderful trip. I often visited other countries whilst here so didn't need to worry about 30 or then 45 day visa. Now getting on in years and a permanent girlfriend ( unless she nags too much) need to think about the 60 day online visa for when I'm back in the UK in April to come back June. Best advice please. Thanks.
