Hello, I’m going to immigration tomorrow for a 30 day extension, I have all the required documentation except the TM7. What is this and where do I get one?
Seeing conflicting information online about required docs for visa exempt extension. Some places saying everything down to exit flights + bank statements and some places saying just show up with tm30, fill out the extension form, sign some papers, and pay.
In the Chom Thong area of Bangkok if that helps.
Looks like the Immigration division 1 at Lak Si is the local office for short term extensions. Thanks in advance, don’t want to mess it up in person and have hours of delay with my toddler at immigration
How many days before 30 day tourist visa expires can you go to immigration to get a 30 day extension. And would the 30 day extension start from the date you visit immigration or from the date of original stamp in passport
Hello! My husband and I are here on Visa Exemption (tourism) scheme and are wanting to do the 30 day extension.
Do we need to print out all the documents before we go or can we get our photos taken/print everything out when we arrive at the Central Investigation Bureau?
As far as I can tell, we need to have:
-Application form TM.7
-Copy of each passport
-4x6 cm photo
-1,900 Baht per person
If you have any tips for us on how to best do this process, we would really appreciate any advice. Thank you for letting us know whether we can print everything there and also whether we can get our photos taken there.
Also, can anyone confirm that this is the correct address for people nearby in Bangkok:
Sharing my experience while extending my visa today at Muang Thong Tani.
Arrived around 1PM had to fill out the forms and queue. If you have the forms ready, it will save you time. Everything including waiting time was probably around 2++ hours but there were a lot of people.
Stamp was given on top of my current stamp and not from today. 1st covid extension and got quite lucky on this one.
