Koh Samui Immigration and 60 day visa related question : )
I was planning to go and extend my visa for the 60 days next week. Has anyone been to KS Immigration and done this already? If so what documents did you need if any?
Thank you! 🙂

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 60-day visa at Koh Samui Immigration, you'll need several documents including: your passport, a passport photo, the TM7 form, the Sor Tor Mor 2 form, a COVID form explaining your extension reason, and copies of your passport and visa-related stamps. It's advisable to prepare two copies of each document as they may require one for their records and another for the head office. Additionally, be aware that delays can occur and it's recommended to apply close to your previous visa stamp expiration to avoid complications.

They do at Surat Thani for 3000thb till 31st January, no need to come again. If you pay 1900, you need 2 copies of everything and come again in 2 weeks getting your second stamp( can be done in Samui)

So it’s worth going to Surat Thani rather than Samui if you want the longer term one?
same papers. 2 copies of everything and photos. New blank they give at the office.

If it’s anything like Phuket they’ll want 2 copies of each. One for their records and one sent off to head office while you get the “under consideration “ stamp.
