I am dual citizen. One passport allows me to enter Vietnam Visa Free and the other one requires a Visa. I will be applying for DTV visa using the passport that requires Visa to enter Vietnam. Question- is there anyone in a similar situation who entered Vietnam Visa free? How did you go about with the entry stamp requirement?
Got new Passport and the writing from the Embassy for the immigration to switch the stamps.
1. Is there a Timeframe to switch?
2. Can I switch stamps only at local immigration OR is it possible to let the immigration at the border )in my case mukdahan) when I leave country in 4 days handle it? Embassy staff know nothing.
I have a retirement initially issued in 2012 in my South African passport. In 2015 I acquired British nationality and passport. I am considering getting an Elite visa and would prefer that it is issued in my British passport. Is this possible in country, rather than having to leave and come back?
Hey everyone, so I have entered the country on my south african passport but I have 2 europeans passports as well that are visa exempt and I was wondering if I go with a visa run company to cambodia or myanmar then exit thailand on my south african and re enter on my european would that be possible? I know if I fly out it will be. But yea I was wondering if it would be possible at a land border? Thanks for any help given...
If I use a second passport (dual nationality, not a blank passport) that has no history of any entries to Thailand – will immigration be able to link this to my main passport?
My main passport has a lot of SETVs and VEs – if I was to switch the passport I enter with every 8-12 months, would that effectively look like I’ve been outside of Thailand for that period?
Or will the all seeing eyes of immigration know what I’m up to?
I"l be switching passports next week as my Aussie is almost full but I have a completely empty Irish passport. Will immigration give me an exit stamp on my empty passport? thanks
to clarify: getting an exist stamp on both the passport I arrived on and the passport I intend to use in the future
Hi everyone...just a head's up if you have dual nationalities....I tried to leave Thailand on my south African passport and reenter from Penang overland with my British and they would not allow it...even though I had a 2 month visa in my other passport...so the only way to switch passports is if you fly in again!
Hello members, I got a question about changing passports and landborders.
Currently I am on a tourist visa with my Spanish passport. But I need to get a non immigrant business visa in my Dutch passport in savanakhet. I heard some mixed stories about changing passports at landborders. You think I can swap my passport at the lao border already without problems?Or maybe at the Thai border going back from Laos when I got my bussiness visa in it?
I would like to find out some information from people who travel using 2 passports. I am finding it difficult to simply swap them at the boarder, as immigration officers always tell me it's not possible.Once I 'check out' from one country they need to 'check me in' to another country next to the stamp I just got.I am based in Thailand. Ideally ,next time, I would like to apply for Thai tourist visa with passport number 2. Where should I go? How to do it? Is it possible at all?
