I want to apply for a soft power DTV VISA in April at the Vientiane Embassy. I have the 500K but my german bank can't provide english bank statements. So my bank statements are in german. Do the bank statements have to be in english? Has anyone submitted their bank statements in another language outside their home country

I'm an American married to a Thai. I was married in USA. I want to register my marriage. Can I just have my marriage certificate translated and will that be accepted along with other documents. Immigration can't seem to give me an absolute answer. I been to 2 different locations and still don't know. Has anyone used a certified translated marriage certificate for proof from Thailand? Some people say I need certification from my home country embassy which since I'm in Thailand isn't possible.

Hi, I have my bank statement in Spanish. I want to go make my DTV VISA process in Laos.

Should I translate my bank statement? And in that case, what platform do you recommend to do it better? I would like to do it for free, because certified translators seem to be quite expensive.

Goodevening all,

In case of DTV remote employee, is the company business license requested if submitted in Jakarta?

In case the employment contract is not in English, guess this needs to be translated in English but who is accredited to do it?

Can I translate it myself and annex it?

TIA

Hello everyone,

I have a question related to bank statement. As I know they want bank statement for 6 months and I have 13 pages bank statement each month. All of these pages is Spanish and i find an agency for translate it into English with 30$/ page. That means i need to pay 2340$ just for translation and it doesn’t make sense. Or do i just need to translate the main page that shows the latest money in my bank? Thanks so much

Hi all, and thanks for your enligthments. Sorry for posting anonymous 🙏🏻😊

My questions are : when you apply as a freelancer, and show your tax return, does it have to be in english ? Mine are in Spanish.

Second question : what if my tax returns are not just about my freelance activity but a mix of incomes ? (I’m also a normal employee in Spain and pay taxes on that and renting out a property)

Do you think they will look specifically for my tax returns regarding the freelance activity or not ?

Grateful for all the help ! And happy new year to all !!!

I'm in currently in Thailand and planning to go to Vientiane next month, I already got an appointment for Nov 12th. On their website it says that any documents in languages other than Thai or English must be translated and notarized. My bank statement is in French, I can get it translated in Bangkok but the French embassy here won't notarize my bank statement. Anyone been in the same situation?

Anyone who applied in Taiwan, did you translate your bank account statements? Mine arent English. I used google translate to get the pdfs translated in English but the pds has a line on top now saying "machine translated by Google Translate" - could that be an issue. Please only respond if you have firsthand experience in Taiwan, not just assumptions. Thank you.

Curious as to why a district office would need a new translated copy of ones Bio page in the passport? They already have one from six months ago? The passport is the same.. not new.. this is for yellow book... thank you

Does the MFA only legalize documents that are translated into Thai? Or do they also legalize English documents?

I need to translate my marriage certificate from Polish to be used for my Non-O dependent visa (foreign spouse working in Thailand). And I'm wondering if it would be best to get it translated directly into Thai instead of English.

Thank you so much!
