About a month ago I posted a question asking if anyone had gotten a 60 day ME tourist visa, immediately after one expired. I said I would update, so here it is. US citizen, my last 60 ME TR visa expired July 15th. I left Thailand August 29th. I applied for a new 60 day ME TR a week later. Today I reviewed email asking for my onward ticket, bank statements, and another accomodations verification. I replied to the email link they sent, an hour later I was approved for new 60 day ME TR visa. So you CAN get them back to back.
I just wanna know one thing. Pls help to answer if you have experience about this. I have been in Thailand with visit visa for 2 months and the visa will expire at the end of April. I got the air ticket for 7th May so I extend 1 more month. I plan to come back Thailand on 25th May. I heard I am not allow to come back immediately as I extended visa before. Is it true? Is there any other way that I can come back? Pls advise me. Thank you ..
I am currently staying in Bangkok. I want to transfer my current, valid Thai visa (METV) from my old passport (no more empty pages) to my newly-received book. (I also have the transfer request letter from the US consulate.) Can the transfer be done in one day at the Bangkok immigration office? Is there a particular form I need to fill out? I have read online that this costs 1,500 THB. Is that right? Thank you.
What's some routes to fly out/in on exempt , and how realistic is getting asked For 20 k ...Might try Penang for setv as other option.. Any help appreciated thanks
Hello im an Australian citizen holding an Australian passport, how strict is the Perth Embassy issuing METV if you have a few back to back 30 day visa exempt stamped within this year, I've never stayed the full 30 days just a week or 2 then left for travel or work purposes. Any advise would be so appreciated .
I have been to Thailand once a year for many years on a normal 30 day stay with the additional 30 days extension.
But next winter I will like to stay longer. I have already bought a flight ticket for arriving in BKK November 1st and return 29th. I will then stay home with my family in December and go back to Thailand in the beginning of January 2020. One of the first days in December I will go to the Thai Embassy and apply for a METV.
My concern is if my very recent stay in November will cause me any trouble in getting the Visa. I mean, it can hardly be called a back-to-back Visa since I'm out of Thailand for more than a month.
My arrival in January - hopefully with my METV - will be with a one-way ticket and a hotel voucher for the first one or two weeks. Will that be sufficient for the immigration authorities?
I am here on a 6 month tourist visa which I obtained in Melbourne Australia. They told me I can get these back to back as I have a) enough cash and b)i'm not at retirement age yet.
On the application it says that a 6 month tourist visa is for ‘property owners’. I own a house in Thailand.
Will immigration continue to let me in on this visa once it’s issued? Melbourne said they would give me them back to back as long as I qualify. Otherwise elite visa for me I guess.
