I'm sorry for this question which must have been asked hundreds of times. I searched through previous posts but couldn't find anything recent.
I entered with a 30 days visa exemption on April 2 (French passport) and would like to do a 30 days extension. I am based in Chiang Mai.
1. I would like to know which of the two offices can I go to carry out this procedure?
1. What documents do I need to bring? I have seen a lot of contradictory information...
Also, the owner of my Airbnb accommodation told me that I don't need the TM30 and that I simply need to provide my temporary residence address during the application. Is it correct?
Hi all, i’m currently on the 30 day tourist visa exempt and i’m looking to extend it for another 30 days at either the Chiang Rai or Phayao immigration office. Would appreciate help with 3 questions:
1. Will the extension start from the day i apply or from the day my original 30 days end?
2. What documents beside my passport and passport size photos are necessary?
3. Is the tm30 form needed? And if so how do i get it? I’m staying with a local thai friend in their apartment.
I need to find out what documents are required to do extention in Thailand. Also at what immigration office to apply at , we are situated in Mahasarakham.
I have a non immigrant O visa to follow my half Thai children I am also married to their Thai Father . But he will not be coming to Thailand yet only next year he will join us.
Please can you help with the list of documents needed.
American here with a Non O-A visa, spouse with a Non O visa. Now that we have arrived, we are looking at next steps for complying with visa extensions and the required documents and we realized that we were unaware that we needed to get our marriage certificate legalized.
The embassy processed the visa application based on a photo of the marriage certificate so I guess we thought it had passed muster.
Any additional insight on this issue would be welcome, and please also mention whether or not this (the legalized marriage certificate) is the only document needed for the trailing spouse to apply for the visa extension to match the validity of the Non O-A.
