DTV - those who have applied on the basis of learning Muay Thai - do you need to pay up front for a minimum of 6-months training per year of the 5-year visa? And is the processing fee paid to the Thai Government at time of online visa application or on approval of said visa?
UPDATE: APPROVED!! The same day of payment! The application went from “ready to submit-awaiting paymentnt” when we woke up, to “paid” after he went and fixed their little mistake giving the rest of the 9k baht at 9am (see below), to APPROVED by 2pm😄
Highly recommend the Savannakhet consulate in Laos!!! Just make sure they dont get confused by how much money you owe them when you get to the consulate to pay😉
Anyone else apply in Savannakhet Laos? Submitted the application yesterday, this location requires you to apply online, then go to the consulate and pay the visa fees in person 10k baht.
Well today my husband who is applying as a spouse on my DTV visa (acquired in Teipei in November) went to pay with the 10k baht in hand. For some reason they only took 1k baht and handed him back the rest. Super odd right? Has this happened to anyone else?
Good day everyone. I hope someone here can help me. I moved to Thailand with my 2 kids. I work for a company here so I have my non b visa and work permit now and the agency is processing my 1 year visa. However the agent asking me 24000 thb per kid for Non-o transfer + visa extension for 1 year, so for 2 kids 48000 thb. It's a big amount and besed on my research in Google it should be much lesser. Any advice or help is very appreciated. Thank you
For Vientiane, I understand we need to pay the application fee at a designated agent. How does payment process work there? Do I need to pay before submitting application? Any info is much appreciated. Thank you.
I just submitted my DTV application in Cambodia (Phnom Penh). When it led me to the payment page before submission, the visa fee was 0 USD and I was able to submit without making a payment (well, I couldn't really make any payment more likely).
Currently my visa is under processing reviewing the documents and I also can download the receipt of 0 USD.
Has this happened to anyone else before?
I can't find any other information on the similar issue! 🥺
