Hi everyone.  My current employment visa expires on 20 April.  I am a teacher but will be changing schools for the next semester.  The new school will commence my work permit and contract from 1 May.  

What can I do for missing 10 days? Do I have to leave the country and come back in?

I’m also married to a Thai wife with a 10 year old child, but hอve not pursued the marriage visa because of the financial requirements - Leaving 400k in a Thai bank account is not appealing to me.

Can anyone assist me?

suggesting that if you never got the 60 day "visit thai family" extension you take that to bridge the gap.

That solves your problem,

BUT

you need to think about getting on the marriage extension because THEN if you lose your job or change jobs you don't lose your extension because it's not issued based on employment, but marriage 😉 That takes all this "what do I do between jobs" out of the picture :)

If you've not already had one within your current entry, you could also apply for a 60 day extension based on "visiting family". Depending on your immigration office you'll need documents "similar" to a year long extension based on marriage minus the financials. If I'm not mistaken you are only entitled to one such extension per entry.

You can get marriage extension (for 1 year) without the 400k with the help of an agent. It cost 35-40k baht.

You can get a covid extension first after cancel your Non-B.

The new covid extension policy allows Non Immigrate visa to extend .
