TLDR : Answer Summary
The procedure to notify immigration of a new address in Thailand, specifically regarding the TM30 form, can be done online or in person. To file online, one must apply through the official immigration website, where an application is assessed, and a login credential is provided, or it could be denied. Alternatively, many users recommend visiting the immigration office in person, especially in Bangkok, as the TM30 reporting has been relocated to an alternate office near Muang Thong Thani. It is crucial to have your landlord sign the requisite documents and provide necessary information such as the rental agreement. For hotels, the responsibility falls on the accommodation provider to file the TM30.
If so you need to go to the alternate immigration office they recently opened out by Muang Thong Thani because that is where they moved the TM30 reporting (Section B)

Hi Tod - is it not the hotel / landlords responsibility to file the TM30? If so, how are we assured it is done and what can we show immigration if asked?
cheers! And thank so much for all your selfless help to the group

If you take a taxi make sure they know where they are going, they will always take you to the normal Chang Wattana. Show them the new location. Make sure they drop you at the right gate or its a bit of a walk too. Make sure your landlord signs the sheet with their photo ID on it and take your rental agreement.
