Married to thia citizen uk marriage. On thai tourist visa now in thailand .can I apply for thia marriage visa or do you need to be married in thailand to qualify
90 day online application. This is my 4th renewal, previously all done at immigration. My online application has been rejected, I’m assuming it’s due to incorrect dates? What should be the 2 dates I enter into the online application?
Hi friends, I'm French and the proud holder of a DTV visa for myself and my entire family.
I first entered the country alone in September.
They gave me an entry stamp with 6 months validity.
However, I only stayed 15 days and now I'm back in France, and nobody has stamped my exit visa!
This means that on my passport, I only have the date of entry, even though I left the country via the airport.
I'm going back with my family this time, at the end of October.
Question: Have any of you already left the country without getting the exit date stamp?
I'm not worried, anyway with all the controls at the airport, they clearly know that I've left and on what date. I just want to know if this has already happened to some of you.
I just completed the LTR pensioner, went seamless. A few things to note; first there are some posts that say you can pay various ways. There are only two, cash or Thai bank transfer, that's it. You're at Chomchuri Square and pay at the same Immigration window everyone else does.
The second thing, it reads as if you get a work permit with the LTR visa, you don't. You're just eligible to get one via the BOI-LTR online system and you don't count as a foreign employee. You still have to have a registered Thai company hire/sponsor you. Spare the Mods and post any questions about WP's to the appropriate forums. I don't have anymore information anyway.
Process takes 1-1.5 hours, maybe less. However, if you have the 11-12 appointment slot you may have to come back after lunch. Like all other visa's, after the nice people at the BOI do there thing, the completed docs go to immigration for review and final approval, this can take some time. The last part as always is pay your fee then turn in you're visa application and passport at the Immigration window to be stamped. The only difference is you don't have to Que:)
I'm not including BOI steps here because it will vari and you will have someone assist you start to finish including walking thru the Immigration office and an out-brief when your done.
I am on my first year extension of stay based on marriage which is due for renewal on 2nd April.
Due to some personal reasons I am contemplating to cancel my marriage extension and go to Savannakhet for a new non-immigrant category O visa based on Thai child.
My question is that do I need to cancel my existing extension by going to immigration or just leaving Thailand without re-entry permit will do it? If I choose the latter route would I have any issues in getting another non-O based on child, in Savannakhet?
I recently received my Non-O Visa for 90 days based on Thai Wife through Thaievisa website.
I received basically a PDF file, is that the visa I must show when flying there and entering Thailand?
Normally in the past (for other visas at least) the passport was sent to immigration and returned to me with the whole page stamped as a visa.
Do I need to go to immigration when I land in Thailand so they put like the visa stamp on the entire passport page, or they will only do that after I extend my visa for 1 year?
Oh and finally, if I am staying in the same condo with the contract in my name, do I need to get a new TM-30 from immigration when arriving? My wife and I have been living there together for almost 2 years now and now we have been in Europe for almost 3 months.
Has anyone been in this situation and knows the answer? I would really appreciate any advice.
