Hi! Question regarding passport requirements.

I know it says your passport needs to be valid for 6 months when applying, but does anyone know if you need a certain number of pages?

I only have 5 or 6 pages left and I’m worried if the visa plus all the extension - leaving and coming back stamps - will be too many stamps.

Obviously can’t have the visa in one passport and then get a new passport at a later date to continue the stamps…

Any ideas?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses passport requirements for obtaining a Thai visa, specifically focusing on the need for a minimum number of blank pages in the passport. While it is confirmed that a valid passport must have at least 6 months until expiration, responses indicate that a minimum of 2 blank pages is advisable for stamps. One response clarifies that visa approval documents may be in PDF form rather than directly in the passport, and there are options to manage stamps between old and new passports.

You present both passports and your printed out DTV approval when entering, the stamps will be placed in the new passport.

The visa is not in your passport, it's on a PDF document. Entry stamps are quite small, you can fit 6 onto one page. No more exit stamps if you use eGate
