Hi everyone, I need some advice please.

I’m on a non B visa which is running out on the 31st of March. I had another job ready to start processing my visa however the immigration in their province was very strict and it didn’t work out. 

So I’m looking at my options at the moment. I’m still looking to find a job and hopefully to start processing a new visa. Do you know if in that case the immigration could give me a grace time or something ? 

Otherwise I have to go out and back in, Cambodia seems to be the best option for that. Does anyone know the process and have any recommendations in general? 

Any good advice is much appreciated 🙏🏼 thank you.

Any company, whether it is a Thai company, or a foreigner company, has to follow the same rules when hiring a foreigner, and it specifically deals with qualifying to give you a work permit. For each work permit they must have four Thai employees, and bt2million in registered capital, except for BOI registered corporations. If they can not meet the requirements to give you a work permit, then they can not sponsor you for a type B visa, as you can not work for anyone without a work permit. Every immigration office is very strict about this requirement. BOI registered corporations are different in the fact that they are not required to have the four Thai employees for each work permit. They still must meet the registered capital requirement, just not the four Thai worker part. In your case, with such limited time, your best bet is to leave the country, as with having a type B visa you can not get a covid extension.
