Hi guys, so i applied using my business account for my statement because I move very little out of it to remain tax efficient. I have now been asked to show my personal account - if i just dump the money from my business into personal account as a lump sum, would that be acceptable to show the closing balance is above what they asked?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the acceptability of transferring a lump sum from their business account to their personal account to demonstrate sufficient funds for a Thai visa requirement. While one commenter suggests that some embassies may not require the funds to be held in the personal account for an extended period, another user provides context about their specific case with the UK embassy, mentioning that only a month's worth of proof is needed and that they have evidence of maintaining the necessary funds in their business account.

Uk. They have only asked for a month.

I do have proof I have held that money in my business account at well over that amount for a long time.

That would only work with the few Thai embassies that don't require the money being in your personal account for a few months, in some cases between 3-6months.
