I see many reporting about the 90 days report. I have been told that this is not required for the DTV visa. If you think otherwise does anyone has official documentation where it is written that it is indeed needed?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among community members is that a 90-day report is indeed required for those on a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand. Despite some claims to the contrary, multiple comments indicate that all visa holders, including DTV visa holders, must file this report with immigration if they stay in Thailand for 90 days or more. No exemptions were found for the DTV visa regarding this requirement.
Any time you legally stay 90 days, or more in Thailand you are required to file a 90 day report. This is for all visas, and visa extensions.

Immigration at suvarnabhum told me you have to 90 day report

90 day report is nothing to do with visas. Anyone that stays in Thailand for over 90 days needs to report to immigration. Tourist visas and visa exempt stamps never go over 90 days that’s why they don’t need to do it.

The ONLY visa that doesn't do 90 day reporting is the Long Term Resident Visa (LTR)
You are more than welcome not to do your 90 day report, however be prepared to pay the fine for not doing so if you ever need to visit immigration in country

Have you any documentation that it is NOT needed? Talking to some bloke in a bar does not count.
