Hey does anybody know how long you need to have left on your passport to extend a education visa? I will have 8 months left on my passport when it comes to extending my Ed visa. Do I need a year? Pondering weather to risk sending off my passport and hoping it comes back in time for the extention. Thank you 🙏🙏

Formally you only need a passport valid at the moment you apply (every visa is transferable) but some immigrations may not like if you passport expires soon

But 6 months and more is always considered as 👌 wherever u go

you need as long left on your passport as the extension you're getting. SO if you are getting a 90 day extension on your ED visa you need at LEAST 90 days on your passport

There’s not really a limit on how long is left in your passport- but any extension will only be for as long as the passport is valid. So if your applying for a 12 month extension you’d only get 8 months. Not an issue if your only applying for a 3 or 6 month extension.
