I posted a few days ago requesting advice about getting my non imm B from a neighbouring country. Laos seems to be favourite but I'm toying with a quick trip to Hong Kong. Has anyone experienced the Thai consulate there for visas?

Hong Kong is the only thai consulate around that will issue a Non-B without proof of having applied for a work permit.

Got mine in Singapore recently - they've got a foolproof online application process now so you get approval before you get on the plane. Hopefully other consulates will follow suit......
