TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether their landlord must submit a new TM30 report due to a change in their passport before applying for a Non-Immigrant O visa extension. Responses indicate that it’s advisable to update immigration records with the new passport details and ensure all necessary entries from the old passport are carried over.
You need to have details for Thai entries from your old passport entered in your new passport first

You do have to get your visa extension transfered into your new passport, before you apply for your new extension, and if you have a driver's license, get it updated with your new passport number.
, take your old passport, that you must have, and your new passport, to immigration, and it is easy, but slow. I think it cost me bt1900, but it was 9 years ago, so it might have been free. I can't remember. I will find out again next year...hehe.
