I'm arriving tomorrow with a non im Ed visa. I have my 20k cash (although, no onward flights) UK passport holder. My question, am I correct in saying I have 24 hours to report my address to chiang mai immigration? I remember having to do this a couple years ago. Thanks

Can I piggy back on this....and ask, if someone with a METV arrives in BKK - in Sathorn, and the landlord knows nothing about the TM30, where would be the first port-of-call? Jaeng Wattana only?

Remember that at this time Chaengwattana is NOT enforcing the TM.30 rule all that hard core. If you're in Bangkok I wouldn't even waste the time to go file one.
