Can I still extend for 6 months? How much would it cost.
Or should I go outside the country and apply for 3 months tourist visa?
Thanks guys

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user arrived in Thailand on a visa on arrival for 30 days and is inquiring about the possibility of extending it for 6 months. However, responses indicate that the visa on arrival can be extended once for an additional 30 days only. For a longer stay, the user could leave the country and apply for a 60-day tourist visa, which can also be extended for another 30 days.
You came in visa exempt. Visa on arrival is a different thing. That said you can extend once for a further 30 days. There is no three month tourist visa. You can get one that gives you 60 days and then extend that once to get another 30 days.
You can get a multiple entry tourist visa that is valid for 6 months and you get stamped in for 60 days (extendable each time for 30 days). Not sure which neighbouring countries embassies/consulates are selling those though.
Yes but the OP sort of inferred that heβd visit a neighbouring country. STV is only available from your home country, so not an option for border bounces.
