We booked a 2 month return ticket from UK & now in Thailand. We have previously been for 1 mth visits & given no thought to visas. Now we are here, we obviously discovered our visa on arrival only covers us for 30 days ๐ฌ. Help needed please on how to go about extending it. Many thanks

Thanks for all your help guys. Went to Samui immigration today. Visa on entry was extended for another 30 days & only took half hour ๐

just a terminology correction, you didn't get a visa on entry or a visa on arrival :/ IF you showed up without having bought a visa from a thai consulate before you came here you were stamped in on what's known as a visa exempt entry. :)

Your Visa Exempt Entry is as you said only for 30 days, if you like to stay longer you can apply before this 30 day terms ends at local Immigration Office for an Extension of Stay for another 30 days, cost 1.900 Thb.
