stop assuming people will be breaking any processes. People can ask questions about process and not get judged from you top contributors. Plenty of people have not reported and nothing happened except for being judged by people on this FB group. No one is asking you or this group for permission for anything. Stop being so significant all the time and get off your high horse.

This is a process question not an opportunity for people to judge other people. People can make their own educated risk based decision based on what the process actually is. If there are no common scenarios or reasons to visit immigration prior to the 180 day visa run then most people would ask themselves “why do the 90 day reporting?” if the only enforcement is at the immigration office and if you do get caught outside of immigration, paying 2000 baht might be worth the risk.

I know what the law says as I can read and write. Please answer the question or mind your business.

What are the use cases that require one to visit immigration before doing a visa run every 180 days?

Chrome browser gives me the most problems with date selection on Asian websites. When I switch to Microsoft Edge, the date selection problem goes away.

DTV visa expires in 5 years with stay up to 180 days per visit. Retirement visa expires in 1 year with stay up to 1 year. DTV is less paperwork over 5 years IMO if you leave/re-enter every 180 days (non-extension route). DTV extension route will require same paperwork process as original DTV application (less desirable route)
