hello questions about first time 90 days report. we got our visas in BKK, but currently we are in phangan and we can obtain TM30 with koh phangan address. In our case, can we report in person at Koh phangan immigration office? thank you in advance for sharing your knowledges about this!
We went to samui immigration and got the extension in 10 minutes.
We stayed in Thailand from late October 2023 to mid-April 2024, based on visa exemptions, extensions and two border runs during this period. We re-entered Thailand on November 8th, 2024 at BKK Airport, we were questioned and asked for a return ticket. We showed a return ticket for 60 days later. They further told us that we did a visa run with stamping out and in on same day earlier this year and that we should not do this again. (We did this with a visa agency.) Eventually we got stamped in until January 6th. Now, in Koh Phangan, immigration is refusing to extend our visa due to a remark in the immigration system about the return ticket and that we have acknowledged the visa run. They say we must leave. Has anyone else faced this? Can we try Samui or another immigration office? Any advice appreciated.

I'm on a 60 day tourist visa on Koh Phangan. Agent I talked to wants 25k for the 90 day Non-O visa. 15k for 1 year extension. So 40k total.
This is with my own 800k baht in my BKK bank account.
(Just to be clear: I have not put the 800k is in the account yet. The quotation from the Koh Phangan agent (40k) assumes 800k of my own money is in the bank account)
Hey, has anyone recently received a covid extension from Koh Phangan immigration? We have already had one, and looking to apply for our second, before we fly home in May.
We know we need to do it before 25th March.
But just wanted to hear how “generous” Koh Phangan is with their covid extensions? Any tips?!
has anybody managed to extend their Special Tourist Visa (STV) after the last regular extension of 90 days?
Immigration Office on Koh Phangan told me that it is not possible to get a covid-extension. They also stated that it is not possible to transfer to an education visa or similar.
Is there any way to stay in Thailand with a STV after 270 days?
I have an ED visa issued in Chiang Mai. I'm currently in Koh Phangan, and I'd like to change to the COVID extension when the ED visa runs out. The immigration here in Koh Phangan is saying that I can't make this change at the KP office, and have instead to go to either Koh Samui or Surat Thani. Is this true? Has anyone successfully made this change at KP immigration?
