Hello! Does anyone know if flying into Cebu and getting an entry stamp there is valid for DTV application at the Manila Thai Embassy? Or do we HAVE to fly into the Manila airport and get a stamp there? Or is it all the same stamp?

Hi everyone! Does anyone know how many months of bank statements Manila, Philippines requires? And are they strict about how long the money is in your bank? What if I only transferred the money a month before applying, is there a possibility to get denied for my DTV?

Anyone applied the DTV visa in Manila using soft power option recently ?

We are planning to apply in Manila (plan to stay there for 10-14 days) at the beginning of next month, wondering if anyone could share some recent experience.

We are gonna enroll to the Discover Thai Nature seminar ( [members only] ) for the DTV visa, the seminar said they do not have experience from Manila so I am still thinking if Manila is a good option or we should apply in Hanoi, Vietnam instead

Need help getting facts on CURRENT walk-in locations near Thailand.

I’ll leave Thailand and apply for the DTV within 3 weeks. I prefer to go to a walk-in location.

Currently, I’m considering:

1. Taipei – but read they’re going e-visa ~Nov 19? I haven’t been able to corroborate this. Does anyone know if/when Taipei goes e-visa and the last day for walk-ins?

2. Manila - I read they'll accept walk-ins until Jan 2025 - true?

3. Yangon – I read they still accept walk-ins until ???

4. Any other locations I should consider?

Any confirmation or correction of what I’ve listed would be fantastic, and any other relevant advice/input would be appreciated.

Which countries around Thailand can still apply for DTV offline?

I’m about to have to do a bounce, and I was planning on visiting another country close by, but after doing some in-depth research, it’s not exactly what I though it was, so I’m opening up my options. I have it narrowed down to Da Nang, Singapore and Manila/Cebu. Is there a consensus among the group of the best destination? Sorry if it’s off-topic, but I need to figure this out ASAP. Not too worried about the budget, within reason, and I can stay as long as I want. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Edit. Basically going because my visa is up. I enjoy Thailand, and thought the Phils were comparable, but the comments online make me now think different. The usual activities... sightseeing, tours, nightlife, etc. I'm not hard to please. Just something interesting to do to bide time before returning here.
