Hi please can someone advise me on what happens the process when you over stay visa in thailand. I have a friend who has had overstay if you have any updated information please pm me🙏🙏🙏
Hello, I've read that i need to do a cancellation of my edu visa or else I'll be fined for overstaying.
The issue here is that I have been chasing and chasing the school for a termination letter and they said they're waiting for the owner to sign the documents. He's rumoured to be on holiday in Germany???
I kept reminding them a month prior to do up the documents and they are not giving me a clear response that they will be helpful.
I should be leaving on 28 December but I'm afraid I will not get the school to give me my documents in time.
What will happen if I just leave before my extension of stay date? I will most likely not be applying for any more long term stay visas in the foreseeable future.
I tried to do my 90 day notification online twice, TM 47 notification of 90 days overstay, but got rejected because I was supposed to go there the first time in person Immigration division 1 @ chaeng Watthana. I took bts, transfer wat pra si matthat to pink line platform 2 towards civic center off at government complex.
**make an appointment in advance (3 weeks)
Because I had to wait over three hours without an appointment.
The process took only about two minutes and they issued a receipt (see pic). Just be careful to do it in time because you could get a fine of 2 to 5000 baht.
I really hope it works next time online so I don’t have to come back just for this.
It would be much much nicer if you didn’t have to go in person the first time but if you do, please make an appointment three weeks in advance because sometimes the appointments aren’t available & you could be there for three hours or more. Also, there aren’t enough seats & bring your own pen because they won’t let you borrow a pen to write the form. I have a Thai marriage visa and still have to do this.
Hi, looking for advice here. I have a 60 day tourist visa from the UK Thai Embassy, I landed 6th of September. My Airline have since sent me a text and email to tell me my return flight has been cancelled and changed it to 2 days later than the original which was a stay of 60 days but now I will be 2 days over the 60 day visa limit. I have kept the original return flight ticket and have the email and ticket confirming the cancellation and new dates of the return flight will that be sufficient on exit or will I still get an overstay fine. I know it is only 500 baht per day but this was the Airline who cancelled my return flight that was within the time limit. TIA
Apologies if this has been asked before: I arrive on the 15th and leave on the 15th 2 months later. I guess that means I am 1-3 days over the 60 day limit for the new free visa. What are my options? (I will be mostly in Chiang Mai area and cannot change my flights). Thanks again
