I’m currently in Thai Lan on 45 days exempt stamp (extended for another 30 days to April 12). I plan to apply for a Non O visa based on retirement in Chiang Mai. I can transfer 800k to Thai bank but may need to withdraw it in a month. I need more than 90 days to transfer another 800k and let it seasoned. My questions are
- Can I apply for a 1 year Multiple entry Non O in Chiang Mai? Are the requirements the same with the 90 day Non O? Does my fund need to be seasoned?
- If I apply for the 90 day non O, can I renew it for another 90 days before I do the one year extension? What are the requirements?
- Once I have the non O visa, do I need to leave and reenter Thailand to activate it?
I am an American, currently on a 1 year Non-O marriage visa that ends April 11. I just read that I must have my 400,000 in the bank 3 months in advance. I thought it was only 2 months, but I see that might only be for the first time. What is correct? 2 month, 3 months? Also if I am past the date that I am required to have the money in the bank, what are my options. Thank you in advance.
Greetings aliens! I’m currently here on the year long extension of my O-A visa which expires October 4. My plan is to go to Cheang Wattana Oct 1 and ask for a year extension and I just want to make sure I’ve got everything they’re asking for.
I wired 800k to my Kbank account here the end of July. I’ve got health insurance already, Pacific Cross, and will be changing the term start date to Oct 1 to sync with the extension. I did get a sheet with info at CW and there is no mention of a local police report or a medical test. Im hoping I’m good to go and not misread or misunderstood something along the way..
