Just for info as people quite often ask. Just come through Heathrow for my Eva Air flight. At checking they were looking at my visa which is a retirement visa so no problem. But I suspect If you do not have a visa, of proof of onward travel you will be denied by Eva Air.
Long shot question: I'm flying into Chiang Mai in a couple of days, flying with Cathay Pacific. They've rejected my online check-in because "must check travel documents in person at the check-in counter in the airport".
I have no visa (will enter with a visa exemption, 30 days for my nationality), and have a return flight for May 31th, because I'm going to travel through SEA.
I have booked a flight to HCMC some days after arrive at CM. It's a real one, not a fake nor a bestonward, it's a real confirmed and paid ticket, because I'm really traveling onwards.
What is what they're going to check when I go to the airport? Is it enough with the e-ticket for that onward flight out of Thailand?
BTW, my passport is valid until 2022, have enough empty pages, and I have a real hotel booking for the time I'll stay in CM.
Do you think they can ask for any other proof or anything?
