Just for info as people quite often ask. Just come through Heathrow for my Eva Air flight. At checking they were looking at my visa which is a retirement visa so no problem. But I suspect If you do not have a visa, of proof of onward travel you will be denied by Eva Air.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers flying with Eva Air from Heathrow to Thailand have reported varying experiences regarding visa checks and proof of onward travel. While some expats have noted no issues when traveling with a retirement visa, others have experienced stringent checks that required them to provide documentation for onward travel. There appears to be a trend of increased scrutiny by airline staff since the end of COVID-19, with multiple users confirming they were asked for their visa details or onward tickets during check-in. Additionally, even with a retirement visa, travelers must ensure they have a re-entry permit to return to Thailand.

I travelled for years to Thailand and was never asked. Since covid finished I've been asked three times. Heathrow with Thai Airways, Berlin with Qatar, Sydney with Singapore Airlines. There certainly seems to have tightened. Maybe it's part of the WEF NWO? 🤣🤣

Flew Thai (TG925) Munich to Bangkok last week on one-way ticket. Check-in asked what type of visa I had? I said ‘Retirement Extension’. I was asked to show it. I found the relevant passport page for them and all was well.
yes had a re entry permit. They only seemed interested in the visa/extension that was in the passport.

You certainly will and by any airline flying to Thailand from LHR. I've seen people refused at the boarding gate after check in missed confirming their onward travel.

Never had an issue with Eva. Flown 4 times from Heathrow to BKK in the last 9 months on an exemption stamp. Never been asked for onward travel, either.
