Question? If I book a flight from Saigon to Krabi with Thai Airways and it says that my bags are transferred at the stopover in Bangkok do I go through customs in Bangkok or Krabi? If I go through customs in Bangkok do I not need all my bags with me? FYI I’m Canadian so I get 30 entry without a visa.
I am a first timer visiting Thailand from USA for 15 days, what can I expect to have happen at TSA, Customs? any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated
Greetings, This is not Visa related, Covid or the like. My fiance' in Sriracha is trying to mail me by Fed Ex a package of 5 bottles of the Mae Mali oil to the USA. The currier is telling her it is a controlled substance and requires a FDA request (in her words). She wrote it down as a gift as "essential oils" on the commercial invoice but the guy at Fed Ex tells her she needs the manufacturer's certificate and FDA request? How can we get it by them?
On the way back from Europe to Thailand.6 countries in 14 days. (Half EU). Reminds me just how neanderthal the airports and customs are in the Land of Smiles..😉
Hi all, thanks to everybody who helped out on my recent post regarding my friend’s passport being stamped incorrectly (30 days when should have been 60) when returning from KL (arriving at DMK) after obtaining a SETV. Although this is a common occurrence and can be rectified at a local immigration office, I thought some of you might find the following info useful if you wanted a quick fix for piece of mind. If you have been stamped in incorrectly, you can return to the arrivals at DMK, ground floor behind 7/11, there is a door which states ‘AIRPORT PASS HOLDERS’ (or something like that). Simply walk in there and there is a woman in a uniform sat at a desk next to all of the baggage trollies. Explain what has happened to her, she will take your passport back through and return it to you with the correct stamp around ten minutes later. Admittedly, parking and all the rest of it was a pain but if u were passing in a taxi then it really would be a quick and easy process.
