Hello, I was wondering if anyone has used a guarantor for the 500,000 thb and how it worked out? Do they need to show the last 6 months bank statement and write a letter? Thanks.
Asking for Canadian passport holder, with Hong Kong residency, currently in Thailand on 30 day exemption stamp. She will travel back to HK this week and likes to apply for Retirement Visa.
She is confused and looking for clarity. I always thought one first gets a 90 day Non-O and then extend to 1 year Retirement at Immigration office in Thailand. Right?
She is confused since Hongkong Thai Consulate has not told her that, and is asking for a year lease/rental house contract. Is this really needed, or only when one likes to extend to the 1 year?
Biggest question is .. can it be a short-term rental agreement to start with?
And she needs to have a guarantor in Thailand.
See what is circled on the form. What/Who can that be?
She says she meets the rest of the requirements (money etc).
Can anyone stir us in the right direction:
*A m I guessing right she gets 90days Non-O first, and then extends?
* And is a year lease/rental house contract needed for this? * And what about the guarantor on the form?
The visa application form from KL asks for 1. guarantor in Thailand AND, 2. local guarantor. Forgive my ignorance, but item 2: local to where? Is it the same as the Thai guarantor?
Hello gents, tommorow I'll be doing my non b teaching visa. I was wondering in the application form what do I put as the guarantor? My school(employer)? Last time when I did my tr visa I left it empty.also regarding the occupation, do I leave it empty since I resigned from my previous job?
1). Has anyone applied for Tourist Visa-Single Entry in Myanmar (Burma)? Were they strict?
2). On the Tourist visa application form below, what defines a guarantor? On Thai Visa Forum, they say the local guarantor is a local emergency contact (home) & Thai guarantor is a Thai emergency contact? Also assume I'd just put all countries for my passport validity (Canadian).
3). Are they strict about the photograph size?
4). Assume it's fairly easy to catch a cab to Don Mueang at 430 AM? Or with Grab taxi can I book a car advance? I can't verify or login to my Uber app so can't use that
