So I'm preparing the application beforehand. So when I'm entering Phnom Penh I can just upload the entry stamp as an pdf. Pay the fee. As suggested by someone in this group. But from here what do I put? My flight to bangkok past year, Bangkok <>Phnom penh?
My goal is a September 24' arrival to Thailand to apply for retirement visa. I will meet the age and income requirements. What visa should I apply for coming into country to ease this process. I was told coming in on visa exempt tourist or 60 day tourist isn't recommended. Do I need any other documentation from home. My thought was hire an agent for first time and learn process to do on my own in future years. I'll be coming from USA. I've read about needing law enforcement back ground checks etc being required. Should I bring that also? Thanks for any tips.
HI. I am planning to retire to Thailand hopefully by August. I have gotten various answers from visa agents. I am confused as to the process. Do I start i the USA with the O-A visa and then go to IMM once I get a residence? So far I meet the financial requirement for that visa. And can I open the bank account once I get there? Also, anyone here who has moved with pets, I could really use some advice on a reliable pet transfer services. I am bringing my cats..Thanks so much for your help.
Hi! We trying to do some research before travelling from the UK to Thailand later this year. We are looking to travel and explore Thailand and will be living off our savings. We are just over 50 😬 but are not currently drawing down our pensions can someone please advise on the best kind of Visa to enable us to stay as long as possible please? Thanks in advance 😀
Hello folks. I arrived in Thailand via the Phuket Sandbox. 45!day visa exempt. Stayed there for 6 weeks. While I was there I went to the Immigration office to get a visa extension. The falang officer there told me I had two options: 30 days, or 60 days. But for the 60 days ‘I would have to lie on the form about being unable to return to my home country’ (Switzerland). His words exactly. I’ve been told this is not correct.
I’ve now moved to Bangkok. The 30 day extension expires early next month.
What is the correct way to get a further 60 day extension from Bangkok immigration?
Can anyone tell me the process of converting a retirement visa (gentleman not married or has no Thai children) who wants to join our college to teach full time and therefore must have a non b visa and a work permit.
We are in Rayong and immigration says he must get a work permit first but the Ministry of Labour says he must get the visa first.
Any clarity from wise heads here would be helpful. Thank you...
Well, whatever you might think of it, it now comes with free face masks :)
Just picked up my passport after 90 day report service (drop off Tuesday - Pick up Friday.) And let me put it like this: I'd rather go to Sathorn 10 times in a month than CW or MTT once in a lifetime.
