Been over two years since I left.

Originally entered on a TR visa (1/1/2020)

with a UK passport.

Stayed on covid extensions (until they stopped issuing them).

I remember on covid extensions you would loose days if you applied earlier than your expiry date on the extension stamp.

I cannot remember if that’s the case for ordinary extensions at immigration?

(60 days on arrival, TR visas etc).

Hi all, my work in Singapore will likely end in March 2025 and I'm considering applying for DTV. Curious to know if I apply for it now, would there be an "expiry date" or deadline on when I need to enter Thailand with it? I'd like to apply for it early enough to make other plans in the event that it was unsuccessful. I'm holding a Canadian passport. Also, I'm not eligible to apply online through the Thai e-visa system in Singapore, do most people apply at their nearest Thai embassy? Thank you for your help!!

How early can i extend this visa, 30 days before May 4th or 30 days before May 27th according to these photos below? (Date of visa expiry vs date of permission of stay in the entry stamp)

Clarification needed..........

I am currently on my first 12 month multi - entry OA long stay (retirement) visa --stamped in until 31 March 2023. The health insurance policy also expires at the same time.

I am returning to Australia on the 13th of March and returning to Thailand on the 21st of March 2023.

Question - given that I am still on my first 12 month OA visa and wanting to extend for the second 12 month period (as of 1 April 2023), do I need a re-entry permit given that I will have another health insurance policy and certificate from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 to cover my second 12 mo th period.

Hi, last week I went to Changwattana Immigration and submitted all my paperwork for my son’s Non B dependant visa. All paperwork was accepted and my son was asked to return 21st (this Friday). Assuming that everything is Ok, how long can he expect to get on his new VISA.

I went to jomtien immigration 10 days ago. My stv visa expires on november 29th. They gave me the documents for the covid extension and told me to come back 15 days before my visa expired.

If i go immigration on november 15th, will my 60 day covid extension end on january 15th?

Hello guys and girls, my original visa was a non-o visa based on marriage which I extended one time last year and now it's time again. Do I need to extend it prior to the original visa or I can do a 3 month extension before it expires and then extend it ? I have 400k I bank for quite many months, I'm just curious on this part 😊👍

Please note that if you extend a non-immigrant 'o' stay, and change the reason (e.g. marriage to retirement or vice versa), then the date will be reset to the date you submit. This is worth noting as it is possible to submit up to 45 days before expiry, meaning up to 45 days could be lost due to the process of cancelling the original extension due to change of reason.

My Non immigrant O visa expiry date and the stamp I got at immigration in Bangkok are both different, with the visa expiring before the date on the immigration stamp. Do I still need to extend my visa or can I just stay in Thailand until the date on my immigration stamp?
