Please can anyone confirm that they have used the TM30 io website for completing the tm30, instead of the official one, as the TM30 io seems so much easier.
I need to obtain a re entry permit for my trip out of Thailand. I reside in Phuket on a retirement extension. When I went to Phuket immigration, I was told that i was registered in another province(probably because of many recent hotel stays in Bangkok). They asked me to obtain a copy of my landlord's id card, a copy of her tambien baan and to fill out and sign the "notification from house master" form. When I informed my landlord, she was adamant that none of this is required and that she will register me online when she gets home from work tonight. Will i be ok to go in tomorrow and obtain the re entry permit, providing she registers me tonight. Or do I physically require the documents that i was told to obtain. I am panicking as i fly out in 2 days time.
Hi. Need some advice please. I have some friends arriving next week for a short stay. I have registered online for the TM30 (and in person last week) as a 'landlord' (and paid yet another fine - don't ask!). But I have yet to receive my password back from Immigration. And I doubt the password will arrive in time. My friends are not here for so long. Where can I register them quickly without wasting a day at Chang Wattana??
Hey, I'm wondering if I could get some help. I'm in Samut Prakan on a SETV.
I went to immigration last week to do my visa extension, and they told me that my place of residence hadn't registered me, so they couldn't extend my visa. They gave me some papers on how to do that, and I gave them to my apartment building last week. It has been more than a week since I gave that to them, but they still haven't registered me. I am allowed to stay in Thailand until August 6th without the extension.
So what's my best option here? Anger doesn't generally solve anything in Thailand, but patience doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere. One option is I could bring my housing contract to immigration to prove that I'm not, say, living at my girlfriend's house, and maybe they will give me some mercy. Another option is to spend one night in a hostel in Bangkok just to get registered and then get the extension there. I would rather not rush out of the country to get another SETV without extending this one.
