Hey guys, I'm Pakistani passport holder and applied DTV in Pakistan but got TR visa instead as in Pakistan, Thai embassy has not issued DTV to anyone till date. I just arrived in Thailand yesterday on TR visa, if anyone (agent, agency) can help me get DTV workation from any neighbouring countries. Planning on visiting Thailand for the 9th time. The first few times I got a 90 day visa and the last few were 60 day visas + 30 day extensions. The last time I went out I provided an acceptance letter from a Muaythai gym with a registration number. I also provided everything else you need to provide for the 90/60 day visas. Is there anything else I need to provide for the DTV when it comes to muaythai purposes and are there any reasons why an application could be turned down? (The more reasons you list the better) I can also provide bank statements showing significant funds. I've had to result to creating a facebook to ask this since the Royal Thai embassy London haven't replied to any of my emails. It says there are no refunds when applying for an E-Visa so would prefer to know before I apply and pay as this is a new visa and just wanted to make sure I get everything right. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi everyone. Just want to share my application experience in Vientiane. I went for my appointment this morning and got sent away twice for lack of documents. I hope this post will allow others to be better prepared.

I went to the embassy with the following documents;

1. Application form with 2 photos attached

2. 6 months of bank statement showing more than 500K baht every month

3. Employment certificate stating my position and that my job is entirely remote

4. Official company registration document with government stamp

5. Passport data page & Laos entry stamp

6. Hotel booking confirmation

7. Document showing my residential address (I use my country issued identification card with address stated)

First rejection:

After looking through my documents the officer wants me to show prove of my salary being credited into my bank account. I left the embassy to print the statements which showed the salary being transferred into my account.

Second rejection:

After looking at the statements, the officer wants to know how do I prove that the money credited is my salary and also wants me to provide employment contract. I left the embassy again this time to contact my employer to write a letter stating my salary for the months shown in the bank statement and an employment contract.

My documents was finally accepted and I paid 10K baht, receive a paper with the date for passport collection.

After reading through this group for a month, I thought the employment certificate indicating my work position and stating my work is entirely remote is enough. Turns out I need to provide employment contract. The bank statements conclusion too wasn’t enough, I have to show full statements with salary credited and also a letter from employer stating the salary.

Hopefully all is good and I get my passport back with the visa.

Does anybody know why my 90 day online could be rejected ? I did it many times in person. This is the first time after I reentered with an reentry visum about 90bdays ago. It is 12 days BEFORE the actual due date.

I work for American company in a different country. I asked my company to provide the company certificate for the DTV visa, but they sent me a certificate of the company that is located in Thailand. Is it enough for the visa or I should ask for the certificate in my country?

Friendly advice: If you will apply for a DTV visa (in my case I was in person in Penang), do not use a broker statement to prove your funds, my application was rejected for that reason, 🙏.

Hearing so many successful application on DTV, am curious on any cases of rejection? As i am planning to make a trip to neighbourhood country of Thailand. Just want to be well prepared in documents to avoid waste trip and whats the reason of rejection for these cities (Vientiane, Hanoi, HCMC, Cambodia)

[Bangkok] 90-day online application rejected. Why?

Took a short holiday and came back on Jan 20 on my re-entry permit (1-year marriage extension).

Then got new a 1-year marriage extension on 14 Feb.

So when exactly do I need to report myself?

I reported in person already before on this passport.

My friend is having trouble getting approved for tourist visa. Last one had no reason whereas before was paperwork. What would this mean?

Have been using 90 day online for a while now.

Never an issue.

Now, first time after a yearly extension, it suddenly got rejected.

No reason given

Just "please come in person to present your passport" in the mail.

So.

Going there Monday.

All good.

Used to do that before anyway 😂
