I just got to Chaeng Watthana immigration to renew my covid extension (after a 1st extension last September).
They asked me my flight return ticket (that I don't have) and got rejected even if all the papers were good.
Anyone faced this situation?
Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reported their experience while attempting to renew their COVID extension at Chaeng Watthana immigration. They were denied due to not having a flight return ticket, despite having all other necessary documents. Comments from the community revealed that this situation may vary in how it's handled by immigration officials, with some users suggesting that proving plans to leave Thailand, such as by holding a booked ticket, is becoming increasingly necessary. Others noted that they had successfully obtained extensions without such documentation, indicating inconsistency in the processing of extension applications.

I guess you are still in the luckier part of people. Some people have to prove their tickets got canceled, or the actual reason they cannot travel... You just need a ticket out of Thailand which is supposed to be easy to get.

Sure seems it's 'luck of the draw' as far as if you're giving a hard time or you skate right thru. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to their methodology on who they single out.

Was this before the "under consideration" stamp, or after?
