TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the appropriate immigration office to visit for a 30-day visa extension following the receipt of a letter from their embassy. Responses suggest visiting the local immigration office where the individual resides, and clarification on procedures according to current visa type and conditions.

because you're on an ED visa extension means you would go to Chaengwattana (the same section where you got your ED extension issued Section N) for your 30 day extension based on being unable to travel due to covid-19
There are four immigration offices in Bangkok for Cambodian, Lao and Burmese on LA (Labour Approved.) visas who work here, but if some one is on an ED visa they use Chaengwattana.
IF you actually received a recent letter from your embassy, you will go to your immigration office in the region you live in. What city do you live in?
Also, just because you have the embassy letter DOES NOT mean you'll get the 30 day extension of stay letting you stay here until the middle of October.
