What should I put for annual income when applying for a soft power DTV Muay Thai visa if I'm currently unemployed?

When applying at London embassy for soft power DTV Muay Thai it says employment status i am currently unemployed with no income but substantial savings in crypto/bank

even when you choose the unemployed option it still asks for annual income any advice what to put .. there is a “no income” option or a “below $20,000” and other options with higher income brackets

Not sure what to put if i put below 20,000 will they want to see further proof of that income even if it is soft power

will i risk being denied the visa if i choose the no income option even though it is soft power and i have the 500,000 available

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a soft power DTV Muay Thai visa at the London embassy as an unemployed person, you can confidently select the 'unemployed' and 'no income' options. Despite a query about annual income, the responses indicate it is common and acceptable to classify yourself as having no income, especially since DTV visas are not income-based. It would be beneficial to provide bank statements to confirm sufficient savings, including funds from cryptocurrency if necessary, to support your application. Some applicants have reported approvals without additional requests for documentation when following this approach.

Hi. I applied via London embassy. I went down the Muay Thai route too. If it helps:

1. Listed myself as unemployed, selected the lowest income bracket (as investments / crypto returns are in my mind still counted as income),

2. submitted my latest bank statement (valid within 30 days of your application),

3. a comprehensive Muay Thai pack (provider name, copies of their ID, etc.),

4. Copy of recent utility bill

5. A copy of the flights booked - this was actually the only thing the embassy requested as additional documents.

From submission to “additional request” to “pending review” and “approved” took about 10 days /7 working days.

Hope that helps.

Do you transfer your crypto profits to your bank often? If so show the statements of those transactions as income and also show the statement of the total amount of your savings in your bank. They don’t care about crypto.

my hardware wallet is completely separate to my bank I have the 500,000 in my bank account not crypto but I have ample funds across both to support me so that’s why I’m not sure to put no income ect

sure I will look into , but I’m in uk and rather do it myself I’m competent enough to fill it in I’m sure an agent in uk will charge me an arm and a leg I have all the documents anyway as doing soft power Muay Thai you don’t need to much documentation I was just worried about that specific question

Stop overthinking. You aren't working so you have no income. DTV is not income based.

Dtv softpower is not income based. But workation income based

I hear what you're saying about workcation vs soft power, yes they want to know ppl have genuine contracts with payslip/revenue proof, but the amounts are not scrutinized or need to be at a certain level to qualify. Yes the OP could say unemployed with a minimum income in mind from their crypto, but I think it's not uncommon or red flag to not have an income at times if living off substantial savings.

thanks for your opinion, I get that point of view but when you choose unemployed it still asks for income which could be a cause for further documentation but I rather be safe than sorry maybe I do over think a little bit

Anonymous participant it's a template form for every visa type, some items are irrelevant to certain applications
