UPDATE: we went to the immigration department this morning, paid the fine and got 30 days extension. Thanks for all your advice.
Good morning. I was issued a 3 month tourist visa valid until 6/7. When preparing my paperwork to ask for a 90 day extension next week I saw on my entry stamp: valid till 21/6β¦.(entered on 23/4)
So does this mean I overstayed my visa ( even though itβs still valid)? Thanks for your advice. Going to immigration tomorrow but just want to know what I can expect.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user initially questioned whether they had overstayed their tourist visa in Thailand after reviewing their entry stamp, which indicated a different validity date than expected. Community members confirmed that the user overstayed their visa by a few days, given the typical 60 days granted on a tourist visa. Upon visiting the immigration department, the user successfully extended their stay by 30 days, despite a fine for the overstay. They received advice on how to apply for further extensions, including the COVID-19 extension options available, and were informed about the potential implications of their overstay.

Anouk van Neck... After settling the unintentional overstay (making it clear to the immigration officer that you misunderstood the visa dates). It likely won't change his/her mind much - but who knows? Next after getting a 30 Extension... you may plan for a 60 day Covid Extension... it should still be available.
Also the Immigration Officers have processed many many of the Covid Extensions - each one is mostly "cookie cutter" no real justification needed - so they process quickly... They like the 1900 Baht too. π
GO to immigration tomorrow, and request for a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism. You will get 30 days, probably starting from the 21st of June.
You will be late 7 days. Each day you are late is a fine of 500 THB. The fine will be 3,500 THB.
The fee to get the 30 day extension of stay is 1,900 THB.
what you suggest to do after the 30 day extension these days? (without possible visa border runs). Volunteer visa? any other visa?

You should have either left the country or applied for an extention of stay by 21st June. If you didnt do either then you're on overstay.

its valid 90 days for a 60 days stay - you overstayed then -

Your visa is valid for 90 days from issue to enter Thailand but when you land here you are stamped in for 60 days, you are now overstaying

Any chance you can show a reducted copy of your visa?

When you are issued a 60 Day tourist Visa you have 90 days to use it. When you enter Thailand on it you get 60 days with a 30 day extension possible. Without seeing stamps it looks like you were stamped in for 60 days on 23rd April and thus now on a 1 week overstay.

I guess you're talking about the 90 day validity for entering Thailand.

If it's a TR tourist visa, you're on overstay now as it's valid 60 days. If it's still a STV special tourist visa, it should be valid 90 days.
