I’m a bit confused. I traveled from The Netherlands with transfer in Taipei to Bangkok. But I never got TM6 departure card in the plane. Also I wasn’t asked about it at immigration. Now I see it’s needed for TM7 to fill in to expend VOA with next 30 days. What should/can I do now?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM6 card is currently not required for travelers arriving by air in Thailand, as its use has been suspended following a recent policy change. Since you did not receive the TM6 card during your flight, you do not need it to extend your Visa on Arrival (VOA). Immigration authorities are aware that the TM6 is not being distributed for air arrivals, so there shouldn't be any issues when you apply for an extension. Many others have reported similar experiences without facing any problems.
Wow, why would you fly from Amsterdam all the way to Taipei before flying onto Bangkok? A direct flight from Amsterdam to Bangkok is much shorter than to Taipei and no need to backtrack. You spent like 6 hours longer in the air than you needed to.
it was the cheapest option back then! And I didn’t mind staying over in Taipei for only 3 hours. I heard that before for example China airlines I was flying with took a whole trip Amsterdam -> Bangkok -> Taipei but now they changed two last stops other way 😄
Why would they do that? Anyway, Taiwan's EVA Air flies non-stop from Amsterdam to Bangkok. KLM does too. Any airline stopping over in the Middle East, such as Emirates, Etihad and Qatar would get you into Bangkok sooner than that circuitous routing you chose.
no idea why the doing that tho hahaha I was just booking flight last minute and took the cheapest one that was available at this point it didn’t matter if I fly longer.

Thailand finally eliminating unnecessary paper trails...slowly! That's why they invented computers.

not need to fill in anymore - as you not get one anymore on arrival by plane
I did border bounce and filled a TM6 in and didn’t fill back in, imo said nothing, when I came back to enter thailand again I filled front and back in, again no probs, except when I requested a spare TM6 to fill in for next border bounce and was refused request, they must be expensive ?….

I had the same situation when i flew over in October and did my extension mid dec. they dont seem to be giving them out anymore. they just asked me if i had one, told them they never gave them out when we arrived and they were fine with it. No issues 👍

TM6 is temporarily suspended for arrivals by air, so it's not needed for an application to extend your stay.

Visa on arrival (VOA) cannot be extended. I assume you're talking about visa exempt.
The TM6 was suspended for air arrivals last year. You will not need it for anything as immigration knows it was suspended and that you won’t have one based on your arrival date.
